All About Ample
Ample: The Dim Ages
Truly prides herself on being smarter and more worldly than here partner Prudence. Most of the time she is, although being smarter than Prudence isn't nearly as much of an achievement as Truly thinks it is.
When not on stage, Truly can often be found providing shade in the Children's Dell, because she loves kids, especially making them.The word "ample" applies to more than just Debra's physical attributes. When she's not busy with Ample and Trite, she does a couple of other things to keep herself busy.
In preparation for her career as an entertainer, she did 2 years at Center for creative studies for Art. She also went to U of M and worked with mentally-impaired and physically-impaired students in Wayne Westland Schools.
As an entertainer, she sings and does Wassails for many local groups, has done voice-overs and lead-ins for WOMC, WJR, AND WMUZ, and works for many local talent agencies and production groups including Imagination Theatre, Showtime Creations, Tony and Tia's Wedding, and Children's Theatre of Michigan.
Combining her two interests, education and entertainment, she works with local High Schools teaching Dialect and Costuming, with elementary students directing and selecting the music for plays, and work with the Fair Winds Council Girl Scouts, on the Brandon Neighborhood Service Team as a Troop Leader and Stage Manager of the annual Talent Show.
Just in case that doesn't keep her busy enough, she's owned her own costume business for 12 years and has four children.
